These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Briefly mobile application ("Briefly", the "App") operated by Briefly News ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
Briefly provides AI-assisted summaries of news and content sourced from third-party websites. The App may allow users to create an account, log in, and use features such as bookmarks and activity-based analytics to improve the experience.
You must be at least the minimum age required by the laws of your country to use the App. If you are under that age, you may use the App only with the involvement/consent of a parent or legal guardian (where required).
Some features (such as saving bookmarks across devices) require you to log in. When you create or use an account:
The App may allow you to save content as bookmarks. Bookmarks are stored and associated with your account so they can be available across sessions/devices. You can remove bookmarks at any time within the App.
We use analytics and measurement tools (for example, Google Analytics / Google Analytics for Firebase) to understand how users interact with the App, improve performance, and develop features. This may include tracking actions such as opening an article, clicking “read more”, using filters, or bookmarking. For details about what is collected and how it is used, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
The App may display summaries, headlines, snippets, and links to third-party websites. Third-party content is owned by its respective publishers and is subject to their terms and policies. We do not control third-party websites and are not responsible for their content, availability, accuracy, or practices.
The App uses automated/AI methods to summarize third-party content. AI-generated summaries may contain inaccuracies, omissions, or misinterpretations. Briefly is provided for informational purposes only and does not provide professional advice (legal, medical, financial, or otherwise).
